Powerful & Efficient Engine

GMC has chosen to standardize the engine menu for the 2026 Acadia. All trims use a turbocharged 2.5-litre, four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It will make 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. All of that available power doesn’t sacrifice efficiency, with the SUV recording 12.1 L/100 km in the city and 10.1 L/100 km on the highway.

Towing Capacity

A towing package can be added to a new 2026 GMC Acadia. It gives owners the ability to pull trailers weighing up to 2,268 kg (5,000 lbs.), a class standard metric.

Traction Management

All available trim grades also offer a standard traction select system, helping drivers better handle changing road conditions with its various modes. The available driving modes include:

Design

Massive Passenger Capacity

While all four 2026 Acadia trim grades have three rows of seats, not all of them have the same maximum passenger capacity. Elevation models can hold eight people, while AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate trims have a seven-person capacity. All four models have the same legroom dimensions:

• First Row: 1,125 mm
• Second Row: 1,053 mm
• Third Row: 816 mm

Cargo Convenience

Nobody will be surprised to learn that the same massive interior space that supports comfortable passengers can turn into one of the largest cargo bays in the class. When each 2026 Acadia is at its maximum passenger capacity, there is more than 650 litres of cargo volume. Folding the second and third rows down makes 2,761 litres and 1,623 litres available, respectively. Finally, all trims are equipped with the AutoSense liftgate.

Technology

Advanced Connectivity

The GMC Premium Infotainment System controls all of the multimedia functions of the 2026 Acadia. This includes wireless smartphone integration for the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto suites of apps. Additionally, the system offers voice recognition controls and is compatible with SiriusXM.
