However, the Sierra has a smaller turning radius making it easier to get around corners than the Tundra. When looking at overall length, the GMC Sierra 1500 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Toyota Tundra.

On the inside of these trucks the Sierra offers more head room and leg room in both the front and the rear seats, making this a better choice for taller individuals. It has seating capabilities of up to 6, while the Tundra only seats 5.

The price point for both of these trucks is very similar. Starting MSRP for the GMC Sierra 1500 is $66,230-$70,420. The MSRP for the Toyota Tundra is $69,650-$72,220.
